The problem

Remote doesn't mean free.

Work went remote. The workspace didn't. Most remote workers are still tied to a desk, a chair, and four walls — just a different set of them.

01

Indoor confinement

Laptops made work portable. The furniture never caught up — so "remote" simply became "a different room." WanderWorkspace is building that missing infrastructure.

02

Nature deficit

Health experts call it "nature deficit disorder" — the anxiety and low mood that come from too little time outside. Impacting the majority of the American population.

03

Blue Ocean Product

No product on the market gives you a real, front-facing, ergonomic desk you can carry on your back and set up anywhere.

The product

Wear it. Deploy it. Work it.

A complete office set up that you can wear on your back. Wear it, take it anywhere, and set up a full workstation in under two minutes — chair, desk, shade, laptop, and power.

Step 01

Wear it

A comfortable, portable chair with laptop-protective bag that you can wear on your back.

Step 02

Deploy it

Telescoping desk panels extend and lock into place. Shade canopy up. Power on. Ready in minutes.

Step 03

Work it

A real, stable workspace with front facing table — work at the beach, in the forest, on a rooftop, in the garden. Wherever you thrive the most.

Founder-market fit

Built by someone who's lived the problem for 24 years.

Jolie Downs has worked 100% remotely since 2001 — long before Zoom calls and laptop bags became a cultural norm, she was an OG remote worker, figuring out how to stay productive outside of a traditional office. She built and ran Paradigm Staffing, a women-owned executive recruiting firm, entirely remotely, and has spent two decades helping other professionals find remote roles.

WanderWorkspace came out of a simple, recurring realization: remote workers have location freedom, but no infrastructure in place to work comfortably anywhere. This isn't a trend bet — it's two decades of lived experience turned into a patented product.
